QUALIFICATIONS:
* Valid current license to practice as an Echo Technician in accordance with (IAW) the Commonwealth of Virginia
* Associate’s degree required.
* Echocardiography Registry Certification by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
* At least 1 year of experience within the last 2 years routinely practicing as an Echo Tech in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include real-time M-Mode/2 Dimensional sector scanning, pulse wave, and continuous wave Doppler and Color Flow mapping of the heart and vessels in adult and pediatric patients, performs portable echo studies throughout the hospital. Additional responsibilities required.

The position will be 40 hours per week, hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0730 - 1630.
