Under general supervision of the Director of Cardiovascular Services, and in collaboration with the Medical Director of Cardiology, the Manager Cardiovascular Services directs the clinical, administrative, and operational aspects of cardiology services including the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Electrophysiology Laboratory, Peripheral Interventional, stress testing and clinical oversight Interventional Radiology Nursing practice. This role is responsible for operations and managing in a high volume cardiac cath lab, EP device lab, and Cardiac Stress testing.

Qualifications

  • BSN with license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or in the nurse’s primary state of residence if that state is a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact. Master’s Degree in relevant field preferred.
  • BSBN required and must be matriculated or willing to enroll in a Master’s program in health care or business.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a full service Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and minimum of two years of management responsibility.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cardiology invasive services.
  • Basic life support and advanced cardiac life support certification required
  • Functions with demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of the aging processes, human development stage and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
  • Previous cath lab and management experience preferred.
