The Cardiac Intervention Unit is a 53-bed Progressive Care unit focusing on medical cardiology, and specializing in cardiac intervention cases. Our staff ratio is 1:4-5. Member of our team include, patient care techs, monitor techs, and health unit coordinators. We have a Nurse Practioner working with us in moving our patients quickly through the discharge process. Our Education/Clinical specialist plays a integral role in documenting our competency, as well as, improving our skills.

Job Description: Monday-Friday. 3-5 years recent progressive care/critical care experience required. Cardiac Cath Lab experience a plus. Will assist with unit orientation, critical care nurse internship program, oversee preceptors, work with mentors and assist educator.
