If you are an experienced RN with 5 years experience that includes 1-2 years of critical care and a strong cardiac care background, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s Cardiovascular Intervention Center is where you’ll enjoy the most technically rewarding and challenging environment. You pride yourself on your critical thinking skills, physical and mental stamina, and enthusiasm for new techniques, and this is where you can find the ideal outlet for your energies!
Our nurses not only circulate, they learn to scrub and monitor, be first assistant in complex procedures, and undergo cross-training in all the roles within the procedure area. You’ll care for high acuity adult, pediatric and neonatal patients, performing catheterization and electrophysiology procedures on 10-hour shifts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
CA RN license, ACLS, BCLS, PALS required; Cardiac Cath Lab/special bedside procedures (Swan-Ganz, inter-aortic balloon pumping and/or running LVADs) preferred. Familiarity with Attrial Fibulation Ablations and Percutaneous Mitral Valve repair a plus. Cath Lab experience or Interventional Radiology preferred.
We are willing to train, and offer great opportunities for continuous education with an onsite RN-to-BSN/MSN program, and the Cedars-Sinai Nursing Institute for Advanced Education. If you live beyond a 30 minute commute from the Medical Center in Beverly Hills, we pay for hotel accommodation for on-call nights and/or weekends.
