RN Clinical Coordinator, Cardiovascular OR

Northside Hospital & Tampa Bay Heart Institute is a 288-bed multidisciplinary cardiovascular center located in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida. Accredited by the National Society of Chest Pain Centers, we are committed to ensuring our patients have access to the highest levels of care available with our dedicated Cardiovascular and Neuroscience focus.

The CVOR Clinical Coordinator is responsible for:

Scheduling and Assignments of staff/teams
Circulating/scrubbing on CVOR cases as needed to support the CV team
Training/orienting of new staff in the department
Ordering special supplies and equipment as needed for the department
Tracking/Data entry of time clock hours for the department
Attending meetings as assigned/Collaborating on projects per Surgical Services Director

Required Job Qualifications include:

Florida RN licensure.
MUST have at least THREE years prior CVOR RN (BOTH scrub and circulator) experience.
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS through the American Heart Association prior to hire.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
MUST live within a 30-minute drive time radius for on-call requirements.
CNOR certification preferred.
Management/Supervisory experience preferred.
