Nurse Practitioner Cardiovascular Surgery

As we continue to grow to meet the needs of our community, we have an opportunity available for two Nurse Practitioners in Cardiovascular Surgery. You would work with surgical cardiovascular patients who are acutely ill. We require your completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and at least five years of professional nursing experience. You should have a Master’s degree as well as ACLS/CCRN certifications.

Cardiac Physician Assistant jobs are regulated by the Ohio Medical Board. The State Medical Board of Ohio is a state agency extablished by the legistlature to protect the public health, safety and welfare by regulating the practice of medicine within the state of Ohio. The Board is responsible for licensing physicians and surgeons, osteopathic physicians and surgeons, podiatric physicians and surgeons, physician assistants, anesthesiologist assistants, massage therapists, cosmetic therapists, mechanotherapists, naprapaths, and acupuncturists. In addition to granting licensure to these professionals, the Ohio Medical Board seeks to ensure the safe and effective provision of medical care to the citizens of Ohio by monitoring and regulating the professional conduct of its licensees and enforcing the provisions adopted by the Board regarding misconduct.
