We are currenlty seeking a full time Cardiovascular Surgery NP or PA!
Shift: Full Time
80 Hours / 2 Weeks
8 days per month, 24 hour shifts
Job Description:
NPs and PAs on this team work collaboratively with consultants, fellows, nursing, and other staff to provide 24/7 coverage managing the inpatient care of adult CV surgical patients throughout their stay. Candidates will have a secondary practice setting with pediatric CV surgery. (Will not assist in the operating room.) Eight 24 hours shifts per 5 week rotation, includes a week of "on-call" if/as needed for coverage. This schedule allows valued "off-time" for personal pursuits, development, and life/work balance. Job Requirements:
Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification or eligible to be certified as an ACNP, ANP, or FNP (certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment date). Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications within first year. Must be eligible for DEA registration. Excellent time management skills essential to this position. Coronary or critical care experience strongly preferred.
Salary:
Salaried - Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. *The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2846.40 based on a full-time position.
