We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist. The Clinical Nurse Specialist is a registered nurse, who, as a result of graduate education and in-depth clinical experience possesses the advanced knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide expert nursing care. The major functions of the Clinical Nurse Specialist include education, consultation, clinical practice and research, and leadership. The primary responsibility is the direct application of clinical expertise to patients/families and patient care staff. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate care services.
Requirements:
· California Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
· Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program in a clinical specialization California CNS certification
· Three years experience in clinical area and/or demonstrated clinical competence and in-depth knowledge in the clinical area
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
