Cardiac Physician Assistant - Full-Time
 
Provide quality assistance to Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons for the medical staff. One in three call coverage. Requires NCCPA approved Physician Assistant Program graduate; State of Ohio registration or eligibility; and ACLS. National certification including AS, BA/BS degree; cardiac surgery rotation; 2 years’ PA; and one year surgical specialty preferred. Recent graduates accepted.

Cardiac Tech jobs are regulated by the Ohio Medical Board. The State Medical Board of Ohio is a state agency extablished by the legistlature to protect the public health, safety and welfare by regulating the practice of medicine within the state of Ohio. The Board is responsible for licensing physicians and surgeons, osteopathic physicians and surgeons, podiatric physicians and surgeons, physician assistants, anesthesiologist assistants, massage therapists, cosmetic therapists, mechanotherapists, naprapaths, and acupuncturists. In addition to granting licensure to these professionals, the Ohio Medical Board seeks to ensure the safe and effective provision of medical care to the citizens of Ohio by monitoring and regulating the professional conduct of its licensees and enforcing the provisions adopted by the Board regarding misconduct.
