Department: Cardiology
Shift: Days, 7am-3pm
Job Description:
Performs a variety of non-invasive diagnostic cardiology procedures on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. Uses sonographic imaging to create high quality images of cardiac structure and function. Processes all Cardiology charges for these exams and prepares exams for physician interpretation and final transcription and reporting. Manages clinical staff and oversees daily operations of the department. Mentors clinical staff and rotating students to foster career growth.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an ARDMS certified training program. Appropriate knowledge of pathologic conditions. Registered (RDCS) as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in adult and pediatrics. Minimum of 5 years experience, acute care setting preferred. Experience in lab accreditation preparation preferred. Mentoring experience preferred.
