San Francisco Kaiser Permanente is a primary hub for teaching and training in our cath lab. With state of the art equipment, an average of 3,500 cases annually, and a team of dedicated professionals, makes this a fantastic career opportunity. 

Staff Nurse II

Qualifications include:

• A current California RN license
• At least two years recent experience in Interventional Services, Cath Lab, or ICU
• A current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• A high school diploma and graduation from an accredited registered nursing program

Radiology Technologist (Job #007540)

Qualifications include:

• REQUIRED: California Radiologic Technologist Certification and Fluorosocopy Certification
• Completion of a two year training program in cardiopulmonary technology or successful completion of a twelve month on the job training program in a licensed catheterization laboratory
• A current BLS, ACLS
• Knowledge of contrast media (ionic vs. nonionic)
• Knowledge of coronary artery anatomy and cardiac physiology in relation to  invasive cardiac procedures

Cardiovascular Technician (Job #066620)

Qualifications include:

• Three years of experience as a cardiovascular technician with Permanente Medical Group or four years acceptable experience in other hospitals
• BCLS and ACLS certifications
• A current CV Technician certification preferred
• Cardiac scrub experience preferred
• The ability to scrub in basic surgical specialties preferred
• The ability to perform all duties required of the position as determined by the supervisor with limited or no supervision
• The ability to take call on a regular rotating basis as a member of the cardiac team, including flexible hours and weekends
• The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
