The University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville has an immediate need for Registered Nurses in the Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU. The ideal candidate is a capable clinician who is focused on expanding knowledge and skills, and consistently provides effective direct care, as part of the interdisciplinary team, to a variety of complex patients. He or she manages care and implements treatment plans at a refined skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, and other members of the health care team. This clinician seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice, and assumes a beginning leadership role, but also seeks mentoring in the process.
