Cardiac Ultrasound Tech jobs are regulated by the Ohio Medical Board. The State Medical Board of Ohio is a state agency extablished by the legistlature to protect the public health, safety and welfare by regulating the practice of medicine within the state of Ohio. The Board is responsible for licensing physicians and surgeons, osteopathic physicians and surgeons, podiatric physicians and surgeons, physician assistants, anesthesiologist assistants, massage therapists, cosmetic therapists, mechanotherapists, naprapaths, and acupuncturists. In addition to granting licensure to these professionals, the Ohio Medical Board seeks to ensure the safe and effective provision of medical care to the citizens of Ohio by monitoring and regulating the professional conduct of its licensees and enforcing the provisions adopted by the Board regarding misconduct.

Non-Invasive Cardiology Schedule: Full time/Day Shift Hours: Monday - Friday with on call. Minimum Hourly Rate: 23.599
Nationwide Children’s Hospital, a 352-bed facility is among the most comprehensive free-standing, pediatric academic medical centers in the nation. Children’s provides care for pediatric patients at all acuity levels including the most critically ill and injured, with approximately 750,000 outpatient visits and over 13,000 inpatient discharges annually.
The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for obtaining echocardiograms and other studies including real time, pulsed doppler, continuous wave doppler, color doppler and fetal echoes. Compiles data required by the cardiologist on all studies. Demonstrates competencies defined in Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care to patients from the age of birth through 21 years, and select adult patients.
