General Cardiologist


Southeastern CT

 

Located 80 minutes from Boston and 90 minutes from NYC, a highly successful and well-established Cardiologist with a large referral base in southeastern CT is seeking a fellowship-trained General / Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join him in a private practice. Candidates should be skilled in Diagnostic Cath and one or more of the following : Transesophageal echoes, pacemaker checks, pacemaker implantations( not essential ), and Cardiac CT angiography interpretations. There is an opportunity to achieve LEVEL 2 certification in Cardiac CT angiography.

The medical and general community is very welcoming and looking for new cardiology talent to come into the area, and have a substantial need for cardiac services.

 

The practice location is only 3 minutes from the hospital. They will have EMR within 6 months to a year. The practice currently offers general cardiology consults, Echo with doppler, stress Echoes, treadmill exercise tests, holter monitors and ambulatory blood pressure checks. Plans include pacemaker check capabilities and launch of a device clinic in partnership with a cardiac EP practice in the area.

 

The call schedule is 2 nights a week , one weekend a month and one shared weekend every 6 weeks (either a Saturday or Sunday). The hospital has an inpatient Hospitalist service who admit patients and will consult on an as needed basis. Need to go in for night admissions is quite rare.

 

The buy in process will be simple, transparent and fair: in the range of $45,000 ( over a negotiable period) and the track to early full partnership will be 18 months. 1,500 square foot office        &a mp;a mp;a mp;a mp;a mp;a mp;n bsp;          &a mp;a mp;a mp;a mp;a mp;a mp;n bsp;
