Cardiology jobs are regulated by the California Medical Board. Looking for an Invasive Cardiologist in Los Angeles, CA to join a large Cardiology group, must be comfortable with: Cardiovascular procedures, willing to participate in clinic trials (we have over 30 active trials), working extremely hard
The group has a regional presence in the greater LA, San Bernadino/Riverside, Lancaster/Palmdale. There are about 8 cardiologists in the group, with subspecialities in non-invasive, EP and invasive CV procedures. They probably do around 4,000 CV procedures/yr and are nationally and internationally renowned.
The hospital was just recognized for the 3rd consecutive year as one of the Top 50 Hospital’s in the US.
We are the second largest independent cardiac center in California, performing over 500 heart surgeries annually, cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons are renowned as a cardiac center of excellence. The hospital has four cardiac catheterization laboratories and in addition a dedication electrophysiology (EP) lab. The EP lab boosts the highest volume of procedures of any EP lab west of the Mississippi. Overall, the Department of Cardiology performs over 4,500 cardiac interventional procedures annually.
The cardiac surgeons have developed expertise in all aspects of heart care, especially the most complex surgical cases referred from other cardiac surgeons and practice exclusively at this facility. As such, patients have better surgical outcomes, experience shorter lengths of stay, receive higher quality and more cost effective care.
Some of the other special features of our heart program include:
– Dedicated Cardiac Surgery Unit, Coronary Care Unit, and Cardiac Definitive Observation Units
– Six dedicated Cardiac Surgery Suites
– Four Heart Surgical teams with around the clock coverage
– The Acute Myocardial Intervention (AMI) transport program that transports over 700 critically ill patients a year supported by our own cardiac critical care team using specially equipped critical care ground and air ambulances.
– This facility supports bench research and development in the advancements of cardiac care.
