Description:

Advocate Christ Medical Center (ACMC), seeks an experienced heart failure transplant cardiologist for our rapidly growing Heart Transplant Center. This position involves all aspects of evaluation and clinical care of heart transplant patients including but not limited to management of patients with congestive heart failure (CHF), pulmonary hypertension, inpatient and outpatient cardiac transplantation, and ventricular assist devices (VADs). There are also significant opportunities for clinical research in heart failure and cardiac transplantation.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate must be board certified in cardiovascular disease and have a strong heart transplant / heart failure background with a primary focus in cardiac transplantation. The candidate should also meet the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) criteria for transplant cardiologists.
