About Catheterization Lab Jobs
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is a dedicated service for diagnostic and interventional cardiology. It's also known as the cardiac cath lab. In this department several interventional procedures are preformed on patients who require peripheral diagnostic and acute cardiac care. It is routine to diagnose heart problems as well as repair them in the cath lab.
Cardiac Catheterization is a non surgical procedure and is minimally invasive. It's used to diagnose and treat problems with the heart and arteries. Cardiac Catheterization is sometimes referred to as a heart cath or angiography.

We are currently seeking a full time Director of Cardiac Services to work Monday - Friday. (Days)
Position Summary:
Direct operational activities of Cardiology services including diagnostic cardiology, the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Collaborate with other leadership team in advancing the strategic goals of the organization.
General Responsibility:
Hire, orient and monitor staff of all Cardiology services.
Serve as clinical expert in clinical aspects of Cardiology Services.
Manage activities of Cardiology Departments.
Requirements:
RN
BLS and ACLS
Minimum of two years critical care experience
Progressive management experience in cardiovascular arena
BSN required, Masters in related field preferred
Prior experience in Open Heart program strongly preferred.
