About Catheterization Lab Jobs
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is a dedicated service for diagnostic and interventional cardiology. It's also known as the cardiac cath lab. In this department several interventional procedures are preformed on patients who require peripheral diagnostic and acute cardiac care. It is routine to diagnose heart problems as well as repair them in the cath lab.
Cardiac Catheterization is a non surgical procedure and is minimally invasive. It's used to diagnose and treat problems with the heart and arteries. Cardiac Catheterization is sometimes referred to as a heart cath or angiography.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Cardiovascular Tech for our Non Invasive Vascular Laboratory.
The Non-invasive Vascular Laboratory provides diagnostic services to include the following: Duplex Scanning of the Carotid Arteries, upper and lower extremities venous and arterial systems and abdominal vasculature. A Certificate of Accreditation has been received in all those areas, awarded by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories. The patient population consists primarily of adults. Staffing is volume based on scheduled activities with a minimum ration of one staff person per procedure. Services are provided 7 days a week with provision for emergency exams.
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Technical Director/Lead Tech performs Non-Invasive Vascular Lab exams in an ICAVL Accredited Lab. Follows protocols established by Baptist Hospital East in compliance with ICAVL standards. These will include Peripheral Vascular Venous and Arterial exams, Extracranial Carotid exams, and Visceral Vascular exams.
Qualifications:
Shift 1pm-9:30 pm., Registered Vascular Technologist or eligible to apply for registry exam., BLS.
