In this department several interventional procedures are preformed on patients who require peripheral diagnostic and acute cardiac care. It is routine to diagnose heart problems as well as repair them in the cath lab.
Cardiac Catheterization is a non surgical procedure and is minimally invasive. It's used to diagnose and treat problems with the heart and arteries. Cardiac Catheterization is sometimes referred to as a heart cath or angiography.
