The Reading Hospital and Medical Center is a not-for-profit healthcare center providing comprehensive acute care, post-acute rehabilitation, behavioral and occupational health services to the people of Berks and adjoining counties. In this key lead role, the facilitator partners with the Electrophysiology team as an active participant in daily planning, implementation and follow-up of patient services. The individual serves as a leader providing progressive knowledge and applicable competencies to enrich the performance of the Electrophysiology service; promotes ethical standards throughout the organization; uses evidence to promote best practices, tracking data/outcomes.

Requires three years Electrophysiology work experience or documented technical expertise with heart rhythm management. In addition to an RN, will consider a Radiology Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiac Vascular Technologist (graduate of School of Cardiac Vascular Technology). Desire a Bachelor’s Degree; if RN, BSN preferred. Certification required – Cardiac Vascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist. ACLS required.
