About Electrophysiology Jobs
Cardiac electrophysiology is the study of the heart's electrical system. An electrophysiology study or EP requires insertion of an electrode catheter into the heart. The test is designed to determine the cause of heart rhythm disturbances and usually takes about two to four hours to perform. Some electrophysiology studies are done to diagnose abnormalities while others are done for treatment or correction of certain conditions, such as Pacemaker Implantation, ICD Insertion, or Cardiac Ablation.
Cardiac electrophysiology is considered a subspecialty of cardiology, and requires one or more years of fellowship training beyond a general cardiology fellowship. (Source: WebMD and Wikipedia)
Cardiologist
We are working with two clients in the Phoenix area who are seeking to expand:
Group #1:
Medium-sized group is seeking to hire multiple physicians. An interventional or invasive full-time cardiologists is needed for fast growing office located south of Phoenix.
This group is also seeking to hire an non-invasive physician for a full-time position (existing practice physicians encouraged to apply) located just over an hour north of Phoenix.
Also, seeking a dynamic EP candidate to join the main group as a 2nd EP and help grow a successful EP practice.
Group #2:
Large group, extremely successful group is seeking to hire an Interventional cardiologist. This group has several offices in the Phoenix and immediate suburbs. The group is divided into two call groups for coverage.
