About Utah Electrophysiology Jobs
Electrophysiology jobs are regulated by the Utah Medical Board. As a part of the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, the mission of the Utah Medical Advisory Board is to safeguard the public health, safety and welfare and to enhance commerce through licensing and regulation. The Utah Medical Advisory Board acts in an advisory role in that they recommend, assist, and support the Utah DOPL in taking appropriate action in licensure and investigative matters. Their advisory duties include: recommending to the director appropriate rules, policy and budgetary matters; approving and establishing a passing score for applicant examinations; screening applicants and recommending licensing, renewal, reinstatement, and relicensure actions to the director; assisting the director in establishing standards of supervision for students or persons in training to become qualified to obtain a license in the occupation or profession it represents and; acting as presiding officer in conducting hearings associated with adjudicative proceedings and in issuing recommended orders when so designated by the director.
Large group of cardiologists in Salt Lake City area seeks to hire an additional cardiologists to meet the needs of the growing population and practice. The group is seeking an additional Invasive/ Non-Interventional cardiologist and an Interventional cardiologist. The group is also seeking an Electrophysiologist Group is divided into two call groups and will be 1:5 or 1:6 for the new physician.
The group offers a very attractive employment package. New physicians receive a one year track to partnership, and during the first year, they receive a salary guarantee and a significant bonus structure as if a full partner. After one year, the new physician will buy into the hard assets of the practice. Partners are compensated on a production basis, though there is a component of equal sharing for the technical fees for the nuclear cameras. The overhead for the group is extremely lean- consistently, the group has had less than a 30% overhead. Since partners are compensated on production, they have freedom to decide how much vacation they would like to take each year up to a liberal maximum.
