About Electrophysiology Jobs
Cardiac electrophysiology is the study of the heart's electrical system. An electrophysiology study or EP requires insertion of an electrode catheter into the heart. The test is designed to determine the cause of heart rhythm disturbances and usually takes about two to four hours to perform. Some electrophysiology studies are done to diagnose abnormalities while others are done for treatment or correction of certain conditions, such as Pacemaker Implantation, ICD Insertion, or Cardiac Ablation.
Cardiac electrophysiology is considered a subspecialty of cardiology, and requires one or more years of fellowship training beyond a general cardiology fellowship. (Source: WebMD and Wikipedia)

*Group is recruiting experienced candidate (2-years out of training) team player, with advanced skills: significant ablation including a-fib , VT and complex SVT. Research and program development experience and strong leadership also preferred.
*Candidate will be based out of one office and one hospital. Opportunity for 99% EP sharing in general call, but EP won´t have to do any procedures other than EP while on call.
*Hospital info: 3 dedicated EP labs, dedicated heart & vascular center ranked in top 50 hospitals in US for heart care.
*Salary based upon experience. Reason for hiring is future growth and program development.
