Looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible cardiologist around the Richmond, VA area. The group's payor mix is approximately 50% Medicare with the remainder conventional insurance and only 10% of their population in a managed care environment. In addition to their hospital-based work, the practice has three offices, each located at a hospital with an Electrophysiology Laboratory. Their device patients are serviced by a Pacemaker Clinic, which is supervised by a NASPE certified RN with eighteen years experience who uses the new generation Paceart System to ensure appropriate follow-up. Clinical research opportunities are available and physicians are welcome to participate in the various drug and device studies, which are ongoing.
